Today my teacher read a post that he wrote on his website and it was tilted(do. or do not.there is no essay). And in his post he talked about how in every class he asks the simple question" what words pop up in your head when you hear the word essay?" and the word that came up every time was stress, anger, crying and dropping out showing up in every class. And it's funny because students were open and glad to share out information that related to this topic. But if it was a normal boring English class and if the teacher asked how many pomes did Shakespeare write? I could bet that only one or two probably zero students would feel comfortable answering that question. While he keeps on reading a quote popped out to me and this is how it goes"Montaigne believed that we learn best when we love what we do. When we can choose how to direct our curiosity, our passion, and our effort."I find this so true because how many of us sat in a class that we hated an example is a math class. We sit there bored out of our minds because that class is just boring. Well I can say in elementary I hated math I didn't like it one bit. But one day I got a math teacher named Mr.Davis and he made math fun up to the point that I would actually love learning about math!!!! And I learned because the classroom was inviting, fun, creative everything every student wishes their class could be. And another point was when my English teacher was done reading he brought up the point that if an English teacher read this they would have been like your missing a Thesis, details, a conclusion, etc. But he didn't include those and we still understood what he was trying to tell us.
